I also have a Blankenburg dog from Gene. He is a great guy. He is all about the dogs if you are having problems with your dog I would suggest letting Gene work with you and your dog. Going out this morning going to try down by wickenburg. Hope to have a good report this afternoon.

I wish, I got the flu this week and am gonna be laying low for at least one more day. Have fun though and post some pics tonight.

Scratch that, my 5 year old girl just told me she wanted me to take her hunting after school gets out today, guess I am gonna have to suck it up. :D

Well I didn't make it all the way down to Wickenburg I talked to a G&F girl I ran into at the gas station and she suggested Bagdad. It was really tough country lots of cactus and rocks. We didn't find any water holes where we went but on the way out I found a pretty good looking spot. To late and tired to try it today but there is water there, I am going to try Thurs. No birds today but it was a blast none the less.

Went out this morning just south of hillside...as I was driving in about 30-35 birds flew in front of the jeep me and the dog went down the road about 50 yards got out and went up to where they had flown.it was uphill and steep after about 75 yards of walking and climbing and the dog being real birdy they flew about 75 feet in front of us up over a little rise. never seen them again but it was still fun they seemed real spooky didn't really give us a chance to get up on them but at least we found some out there. that area is tough lots of cactus and steep hills and brush covered bottoms. I think the main draw in that area is water the birds were maybe 100 yands from the tank when they broke in front of the jeep. I think I will go out there in the morning and see what happens.
